Gwendolyn “Gwen” Tennyson was introduced as Ben’s reasonable, smart-mouthed ten year old cousin. Ben and Gwen shared a love-hate relationship (as far as cousins go) and frequently argued. Their relationship improved throughout the course of their summer road trip and despite their disagreements and differences the two are shown to be rather protective of one another.

With no initial powers of her own, Gwen used her laptop to research any strange people and/or creatures that her cousin encountered and was shown to be quite skilled in gymnastics and martial arts. Eventually Gwen began to show an innate, natural ability for magic after coming across the Charms of Bezel and she began to use these abilities to assist Ben, even creating her own superhero identity: Lucky Girl. Her magical talents were enhanced and trained by a book of spells that she took from Charmcaster, who was a magician of sorts and a rival to Gwen.

Five years later, the now fifteen year old Gwen joins Ben and unlikely ally Kevin (Kevin 11) Levin on a mission to find the missing Max Tennyson and help to put an end to an alien conspiracy that threatens the Earth.

AFFILIATIONS
BEN TENNYSON aka Ben 10 is Gwen’s first cousin. Five years ago, Ben found a device called the Omnitrix which allows him to transform into a number of different aliens. When Grampa Max goes missing, Ben takes over as “leader”.
KEVIN LEVIN is a street-wise sixteen year old with the ability to absorb the properties of any solid matter he touches and a former enemy of the Tennysons. After several attempts to kill Ben and kidnapping Gwen, he was trapped in the Null Void. Kevin joined the Tennysons after the death of Magister, a Plumber, and has proven himself a useful ally and a friend.
KEN TENNYSON is Gwen’s older brother. Ken was kidnapped by DNAliens in hopes that Max Tennyson would come for him. After being rescued, the determined college student joined the team.
MAXWELL TENNYSON is a retired Plumber and Gwen’s paternal grandfather. Max disappeared while investigating an alien conspiracy but left clues for his grandchildren behind.
ALAN ALBRIGHT is the half-Pyronite son of a Plumber who can switch between human and Pyronite form at will. Alan is an on-call member of the team.
THE PLUMBERS/PLUMBERS’ KIDS are a sort of intergalactic law enforcement. Gwen and Ben seem to be well-known within the Plumber community because of their grandfather who was a bit of a legend with the Plumbers. Using the Plumbers’ badge that Kevin took from Magister, the team is currently seeking help to finish Max’s mission.
